Kickstarter Update

Happy February everyone!!!  I am excited to share an update about our Kickstarter project - We are 48% funded with $1680.00 all thanks to our 18 backers!  And we still have 25 days to go!!!  Thank you so much to everyone who has pledged, it means more to us than words can express!!!  We are confident we'll reach our goal and be able to offer a unique bakery experience here in South Austin.  Thank you again!!!!

We love KROX!!!

We got to take a bunch of goodies to the 101X morning show today - thank you Alex, Deb, Jason & Nick!!  We took truffle brownies, lemmmmmmmon cookies, chocolate ganache cupcakes with beer buttercream, homemade (no corn syrup) coconut marshmallows & peanut butter dog treats!  Hope everyone enjoyed them & I'm looking forward to taking more stuff.  Thanks 101X!!!

Is January half over already!?!

Whew......January has gone by fast!!!  Can't believe it's the 16th already.  Lots of exciting things happening!  Our Kickstarter project is getting some good attention - praying we can keep it up & meet our goal of $3500.00!!!  Spring just sounds like a good time to open a bakery don'tcha think?  Still working on some recipes.  Tackling gluten free is my next goal.  I tried a recipe using rice flour once.  Never again.  It was crunchy!  Back to the drawing board but this time I'm going to try a mix of a few different kinds of gluten free flours.  Fingers crossed!  If it works for cupcakes I'm going to try the same flour mix for some other recipes in the hopes we can be a gluten free bakery.  I think that would be such a great thing to be known for our gluten free treats.  And if you can't tell the difference?  Even better!!!

Happy New Year!!!

A couple days late but we've had some EXCITING progress with our Kickstarter project.  We already have FOUR backers & have raised $300 towards our goal!!  We are sooo excited about the progress & can't wait to see each day bring deliriously happy advances to getting to open a bakery.  Can you tell I'm excited!!  I should be Kanye typing - you know, all CAPS.  That's how excited I am!!!  Thank you so much to our backers!!  I'll be posting a list of all our Angels soon!!!
